Wyandotte County, KS Special Tax Question
Shall Wyandotte County, Kansas (the “County”), be authorized to impose a one-quarter percent (0.25%) countywide retailers’ sales tax (the “Sales Tax”) for the purpose of financing the costs of providing health care services including, but not limited to, indigent care, behavioral health, substance abuse, preventive health care services, and the County Health Department, collection of such Sales Tax to commence on April 1, 2027, or as soon thereafter as permitted by law, pursuant to the authority of K.S.A. 12-187 et seq., as amended?
Kansas City, KS Special Tax Question
Shall the City of Kansas City, Kansas, be authorized to impose an additional three-eighths of one percent citywide retailers' sales tax the proceeds of which shall be used as follows: 1) approximately fifty percent (50%) for the purposes of financing park capital improvement projects, including parks, community centers and trails, and 2) approximately fifty percent (50%) for the purposes of financing infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and sidewalks, the collection of such Sales Tax commencing on April 1, 2027, or as soon thereafter as permitted by law, and terminating ten years after its commencement?
